The Teacher Leaders are in the process of collecting survey data related to the subject that they completed literature reviews on over the course. CTU members are encouraged to review the topics & take the surveys that relate to their position within CMSD. Thank you!
Survey topics include: TDES, Literacy Coaches, Universal Screening for Preschool, Teacher Voice, ELL, Teacher Burnout, New Teacher Training Programs, MD/Autism Best Practices, SST Process, Science of Middle School.

Sara Baldassar is heading up the AFT Teacher Leaders Program for the CTU. Please see all of the attachments below relating to this program. “The Teacher Leaders Program identifies and brings together a select group of teachers and empowers them to assume active leadership roles in their schools, unions and communities. These teachers then serve as catalysts to build the profession and strengthen the union and its connection to the community in order to generate support and understanding of public schools. Teacher leaders will continue to use the skills they develop in the yearlong program throughout their careers.”
